Privacy policy
Who is responsible
Vincam, the app and this website, is provided by Shalhevet Software Solutions (Daniel Gabbay), Jerusalem, Israel. For anything in this policy, write to dnlgby@gmail.com. That address is the only channel; there is no form and no chat.
The app
Vincam collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cloud service. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us.
Photos you take are saved on your device only. Sharing them is something you do yourself, through Android's share sheet; the app does not upload them.
The camera permission is used only for the live preview and for capturing the photo.
Vincam Pro is sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details.
This matches the Data Safety section of our Google Play listing: no data collected, no data shared.
This website
This website is hosted on Railway, in a United States region. Like any web server it writes one log line per request: your IP address, your browser's user agent, the time and the path requested. The host keeps these logs for its standard retention period; we do not extend it.
The live camera demo runs inside your browser. The frames it processes never leave your device, and if you allow the site to use your camera, the video stays in the page: this site is static files, with nothing that could receive it.
Captures you make on the site stay on your device too. The share button hands the image to your own share sheet or saves it; we never see it. Photos you try on the site are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Fonts and images are served from this website itself. The site makes no third-party font or analytics requests.
The Meta pixel
This website currently loads no advertising pixel and no analytics. If we start measuring our advertising with a Meta pixel, this section will say what it sends, which cookies it sets and how to limit it, and the effective date above will change.
Links to Google Play
The Google Play badges and links take you to Google Play. From there on, Google's terms and privacy policy apply. The link carries campaign parameters, the source of your visit, so that Google Play can show us which ads lead to installs; it carries nothing about you personally.
Children
Vincam is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, for example by email, tell us and we will delete it.
Your rights
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, the law gives you rights over personal data about you: to know what we hold, to have it deleted, and to object to its use. You can use them by email at dnlgby@gmail.com; we answer within the time the law sets.
In practice there is little to retrieve. Neither the app nor the site keeps account or profile data. The server logs hold IP addresses but no names, and we cannot connect a log line to you without information from you. What we do hold is your email correspondence with us, if you have written to us, and we delete it on request.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. There is no mailing list, so this page is the place to check.
